Along Came The Spiders, written by Tina Hallock, the first lady of the University of Richmond, tells how the University of Richmond became the only Spider mascot in collegiate sports. After reading many accounts of how the Spider mascot came to be, Tina was inspired to write a children’s book. The beautifully illustrated book featuring up and coming, talented artist, Kaitlin Jones Stasiunas, is part of a larger story that celebrates this incredible community.
